Jamie Sidwell

Jamie Sidwell is a pianist and piano teacher who has been playing piano since the age of 7. With a strong classical background, he achieved Grade 8 Piano with Distinction at 14, before naturally branching out into jazz, improvisation, and more modern piano styles.

 

Jamie studied music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he spent three years developing his musical understanding and collaborating with musicians from around the world. These experiences shaped his flexible and creative approach to both playing and teaching.

 

Now based in London, Jamie teaches piano to students of all ages and levels. He believes learning piano should be both structured and enjoyable, with lessons tailored to each student’s interests and goals. Jamie’s aim is to help students build confidence, develop strong technique, and enjoy expressing themselves through music.
