Vincenzo Lo Vasco
Co-Founder & Director of Music
Hi, I’m Vincenzo, a professional session guitarist and music educator.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked with students of all ages and abilities, helping complete beginners get started and more advanced players break through plateaus, build confidence, and genuinely enjoy playing music.
Alongside teaching, I’ve performed across the UK and Europe, including venues such as the The Jazz Cafe, Southbank Centre, Scala, O2 Academy Islington, and Ninety One Living Room. In 2025, I've toured major European theatres with Lords of the Sound Orchestra, performing at venues including Prague Congress Centre and Wiener Stadthalle.
But The Riff Music Academy didn’t start from performance, it started from frustration. I saw too many students feeling stuck, uninspired, or overwhelmed by rigid, one-size-fits-all teaching methods. Lessons often lacked structure, clarity, or any real sense of progress. That’s why I created The Riff Music Academy.
The goal was simple: to offer structured, personalised lessons that actually help people improve, while keeping the process engaging, motivating, and tailored to each individual.
Today, we work with a growing number of students across London and online, helping them build strong foundations, stay consistent, and become confident musicians, whether they’re learning for fun, working towards exams, or aiming to perform.If you’re looking for lessons that are clear, supportive, and built around you, you’re in the right place.

Hi, I’m Ingrid, co-founder of The Riff Music Academy, where I lead the strategy behind the brand.
I graduated in International Relations and I’m currently completing an MSc in Business Analytics. My background spans sales, business and international projects, and I’ve always been interested in the space where strategy, creativity and people come together.
When we created The Riff, we wanted to build a music academy that felt different from the traditional model: modern, personal and genuinely connected to the people it serves.
A place where quality and professionalism matter, but where learning music still feels exciting and inspiring.
Today, I lead The Riff’s brand and growth strategy, from how we communicate and build the academy to the experience students have from their very first enquiry.
I also believe that learning music has no expiry date. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time, returning to something you loved years ago, or looking to take your playing further, there should be a place for you.
That’s what I want The Riff to be.
