Leizel Abrahams

Leizel (she/her) is a vocalist, composer, and teacher based in London.

 

Her performance experience covers a wide variety of musical genres, particularly jazz, pop, and musical theatre. Leizel performs regularly in small and large ensembles, a highlight being a guest vocalist with the RTV Big Band Slovenia.

 

Leizel earned her BMus degree at Cardiff University School of Music, and is now studying an MMus in Jazz Vocal Performance at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

 

Leizel undertakes a well-rounded and thoughtful approach to singing and vocal teaching, and understands the importance of finding a personal connection with the music.

 

Leizel is a warm and versatile teacher, and is able to adapt her lessons to support each individual student’s goals, whether that be to explore a new style, prepare for an audition or exam, improve vocal technique, or to build their confidence around singing!

 

She is passionate about inclusive music sessions and access to music for all.
