​​Owen Wheeler

Owen is a drummer, multi-instrumentalist and producer from south-east London. He studied popular music at Trinity Laban, graduating with a BA in Music Performance and Industry.

 

Having played in bands for over 10 years, Owen is an experienced performer, and can regularly be found playing in venues around London. He is a talented session musician, with a strong grounding in technique and a highly creative approach to groove and part-writing.

 

With a varied background, being formally trained in rock, pop and jazz drumming, and also classical percussion, Owen is a versatile teacher. He is able to call upon these experiences, as well as his extensive knowledge of music theory, production and other instruments, to provide a highly personalised style of teaching, tailoring lessons to his students’ specific needs. He is highly passionate about music, and proud to be able to share his skills and experience with the next generation of young musicians.
