Vincenzo Lo Vasco
Born in 1997 in Sicily and now based in London, Vincenzo is a highly versatile guitarist, session musician, and educator. He began studying classical guitar at the age of 12 and formed his first rock band the same year, starting to perform live at 13.
Vincenzo refined his musical foundation through private music theory studies before training for three years at Milan’s Rock Guitar Academy under Mattia Tedesco. He later earned a degree in Popular Music Performance from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) in London, where he studied with leading educators including Adam Goldsmith, Rich Perks, and Tolis Zavallaris.
As a session guitarist, Vincenzo has built a reputation as a versatile and adaptable player, working across live and studio settings with artists including Sam Recks, Nia Chennai, Rio Rainz, ICXN, and others. He has performed at notable London venues including Scala, O2 Academy Islington, and Ninety One Living Room, and in 2025 toured major European theatres with Lords of the Sound Orchestra, performing at venues including Prague Congress Centre and Wiener Stadthalle.
His extensive session work has also shaped him into a highly flexible and experienced teacher. Vincenzo teaches multiple styles, including classical guitar, fingerstyle acoustic guitar, and electric guitar across pop, rock, funk, R&B, blues, and metal.
He also teaches music theory, sight-reading for guitarists, and works with songwriters to expand their harmonic vocabulary, technical fluency, and confidence on the instrument.
As an educator, Vincenzo works with students of all ages and levels, tailoring each lesson to individual goals, whether performance-focused, songwriting-led, technical development, or personal enjoyment. His teaching philosophy centres on helping players build confidence, develop their own musical identity, and build a genuine, lasting connection with music.
